JADINE YARDE
Founder and CEO
Jadine Yarde was nineteen years old when she was published in Pediatrics, the peer-reviewed journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as a co-researcher on a study examining youth participation in transition research. It was an early signal of something that has defined her career since: the ability to move between worlds that don't usually talk to each other and find the thread that connects them.
She has managed artists, served as local production manager for shoots in the Caribbean on behalf of clients including Cosmopolitan, 90 Day Fiance, Bal Harbour Magazine and Silversea Cruises, written award-winning concession bids, and built businesses from the ground up in markets where the infrastructure to do so barely existed.
In 2020 she was selected from a competitive international field to become CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority. During her tenure Nevis was ranked number two island in the Caribbean by Condé Nast Traveler in 2021, one of the most significant achievements of her career and a measure of what focused strategy can produce under pressure. She is co-founder of Know Your Caribbean Inc., a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit, and serves on its board of directors. She co-founded the Caribbean Green Book alongside Fiona Compton, a platform dedicated to keeping tourism dollars within Caribbean communities, which has been featured in Essence and Travel Noire. She co-founded Limitless Concierge Service, a Black-owned luxury travel planning and destination management company delivering bespoke group experiences across Barbados, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis.
Some people are good at one thing. Jadine has built a career out of refusing that limitation. Whatever the industry, whatever the scale, she finds a way to make it work and make it matter.
She is the founder and president of J. Ventures International LLC, a creative strategy and business development firm working with concept-driven businesses, food and beverage ventures, travel and hospitality brands, and founders with ideas worth building. She is based between the United States and the Caribbean.
